Do we need sex education in pakistan?
« on: October 24, 2011, 11:35:08 PM »

At first i was very much opposed to the subject and i thought that if this education is given there will be loads of problems among the younger generation there will be no sense of shyness amongst them and it will lead to experimentation and hence disaster of our generations as it is happening in the west.

But now after realising its importance i  now think that sexual education is necessary but must only be given by parents at home, girls should get this from their mothers/elder sisters and boys from their fathers or elder brothers. It is important that boys should have a friendly relationship with their fathers and same for girls so that they can easily communicate. It all depends on parents how they raise their children. I would say that the sexual abuses that we see in our society is all because of the parents of this generation are so lazy and so nut-minded that they don't educate their children (not sexually) but the civic sense has completely gone.

Recently i found this Urdu book and after reading it i am now confident to say that every parent should read this book and then transmit the knowledge to their kids in a better way.
