Reports to: NCMNH Project Advisory Committee Summary Job Description:The Project Manager-Technical will be responsible for guiding program activities and achieving grant deliverables. Main responsibilities include high quality project planning, ensuring that the project achieves its targets and monitoring and evaluation. Management of project staff is a key responsibility.
Specific Responsibilities:Project Management
1. Overall project implementation.
2. Ensure that project is meeting all donor requirements including reporting.
3. Review and finalize monthly and quarterly progress reports.
4. Ensure development and implementation of weekly and monthly work plans for staff to ensure timely completion of grant deliverables.
5. Provide overall programmatic support and technical advice.
6. Ensure high quality project planning, monitoring and evaluation including regular field visits.
7. Participate in designing and implementation of training modules.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Staff Supervision9. Overall management of project staff including timely performance appraisals.
10. Supervise and support project staff on a day-to day basis.
Qualifications and Experience:• MBBS, preferably with MPH/MBA
• 5-8 years technical management experience in Reproductive Health programs preferred.
• Must be able to set priorities for self as well as for project staff, make adjustments as necessary and meet deadlines.
• Strong people and program management skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written English
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office.

Position Title: Project Officers (2 positions)
Report to: Project Manager - Technical Summary Job Description:The Project Officers will be responsible for overall implementation of the project according to grant deliverable timelines, under the supervision of the Project Manager. This includes Monitoring all trainings, organizing and documenting meetings and awareness raising sessions as required, Data collection and preparation of Monthly/Quarterly Performance Reports.
Responsibilities:1. Implement activities and meet grant deliverables.
2. Assist in design and implementation of training modules.
3. Provide programmatic and technical inputs as required.
4. Participate in regular project planning meetings to ensure timely completion of grant deliverables.
5. Data collection and preparation of monthly/quarterly performance reports, in collaboration with Record Keeper.
6. Organize and document monthly progress update meetings with Skilled Birth Attendants.
7. Conduct monitoring and evaluation including regular field visits to the project site.
8. Monitor all trainings.
9. Organize awareness raising sessions at the community level when required.
10. Provide supportive supervision and guidance to Record Keeper.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS • MBBS
• 3-5 years experience in the field of Reproductive Health.
• Ability to work as part of a technical and programmatic team.
• Ability to set priorities and adjust work as necessary, meet deadlines.

Position: Finance & Accounts Officer (1 position)
Reports to: National Coordinator/ Management Advisor Summary Job Description:Project accountant will maintain all project related financial records.
Main responsibilities include timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly financial statements
Responsibilities:1. Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly financial statements and statutory filing of project.
2. Prepare and submit a monthly payroll including attendance and leave records of employees.
3. Respond to inquiries from the senior management regarding financial requests, special reporting requests.
4. Maintain all financial record up to date.
5. Manage cash and settlement of accounts.
6. Carry-out internal financial audits according to the accounting manual, and prepare for external audit.
7. Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications• MBA Finance/CA Intermediate
• 5 years of relevant work experience in financial position including financial management, planning, administration and budgeting & auditing of International projects.
• Extensive knowledge of financial and administrative systems;
• Experience in using relevant financial IT-systems.

Position: IT/MIS Administrator (1 position)
Reports to: Project Manager Summary Job Description:System administrator will be responsible for installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of hardware and related software. Will also develop MIS forms and ensure accuracy of data entry.
Responsibilities:1. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs.
2. Perform daily backup operations, ensure all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created.
3. Repair hardware and or software failures.
4. Carry out ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
5. Develop of MIS Forms
6. Ensure the accuracy of MIS Data
7. MIS reports analysis
8. Liaise with software houses/vendors
9. Maintain inventory for IT department

Qualifications • Degree in computer Science
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a reputable organization

Position Title: Counselor (2 positions)
Reporting to: Program Officer Summary Job Description:Counselors will be engaged initially for a period of three months. They will ensure informed consent in order to sensitize and educate clients to use family planning methods, for the first 2 trainings of Master Trainers and Trainers. She will also provide training on family planning counseling to the designated hospital staff in the assigned institution.
Responsibilities:1. Collect data from project sites to determine the number of deliveries taking place in each project site during the training period.
2. Counsel clients and motivate them to accept PPIUCD as an immediate FP method.
3. Maintain accurate track of new and returning clients.
4. Help the Data Collector in producing and maintaining Quality Data.
5. Train designated staff in counseling.
Qualifications and Experience:• Graduate, preferably with knowledge of Reproductive Health and Family Planning.
• Individuals trained in counseling with experience of counseling FP clients.
• LHVs/ Midwives preferred.

Position Title: Data Collector/ Record Keeper (2 positions)
Reports to: Project OfficerSummary Job DescriptionRecord Keeper will work in close collaboration with the Skilled Birth Attendants (SBAs) and other departmental staff at service sites to ensure timely registration of each client attending the antenatal clinic, labour room, operation theatre, recovery room and ward. She will generate data for each client delivering and each family planning method observed within the project duration. She will support successful data generation and registration records at the end of each month and will be responsible for all data entry and records.
Responsibilities:1. Meet regularly with SBAs, nursing staff, recovery room and ward staff for ALL client registration within the last 24 hours who attended the Ante Natal Clinic Labor Room, and Operation Theatre.
2. Register clients who received or requested family planning method, and any complications reported.
3. Ensure overall maintenance of records. Facilitate Project Manager and Project Officer in project activities including workshop/training planning; logistics travel arrangements, etc., to ensure smooth implementation of the project at facility levels.
4. Support Project Officer in developing monthly and quarterly summary reports.
Qualifications/Knowledge and Experience:• Midwife or Nurse Midwife with additional experience in related clinical record maintenance, and knowledge of working with international organizations.
• 1–2 years of experience working with a tertiary care hospital.
• Good knowledge of data collection.
• Technical knowledge and field experience in health programs, particularly Nursing/ Midwifery, with a focus on Essential Obstetric Care, Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illnesses (IMNCI), and Family Planning.
• Familiarity with the government health system.
• Strong coordination skills and ability to develop positive professional relationships with government staff.
